Don’t Drink … Play!
If you enjoy a beverage every so often, keep your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your wallet, and keep all cash, credit cards and checkbooks at home. Only take whatever money you intend to use on drinks, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to squander and keep the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You may well have a win following a boozy evening out with your comrades and be lucky enough to hook a long roll at a hot craps game. Hang on to that adventure because it is as short-lived as it gets if you always consume alcohol and wager. The pair simply do not mix.
Leaving your moolah back at the hotel is a bit excessive, but precautionary actions for drastic behavior is required. If you play to profit, then do not drink and bet. If you like to blow your cash nary a worry, then consume all the gratis booze your stomach are able to handle, but don’t carry plastic credit and checkbooks to toss into the mix of following losses after your inebriated head squanders all the cash!
Allow me to carry this 1 step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on the internet to play in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my condo, but seeing that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards near by, I can not drink alcohol and bet.
Why? Although I don’t drink a lot, when I consume alcohol, it’s clearly enough to cloud my better judgment. I wager, so I do not drink when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not gamble at the same time. Both make for an awful, and crazy, drink.
