There is an appealing history to the Cambodia gambling halls that lie just over the border from nearby Thailand, where casino gambling is against the law. Eight casinos are situated in a generally small area in the municipality of Poipet in Cambodia. Additionally, there is the Casino Tropicana, with 135 slot machine games and sixty six of the normal gaming tables, as well as 1 table of Casino Stud Poker. An additional of the eight casinos in Poipet, again in a motel, is the Princess Casino with 166 one armed bandits and 97 casino games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in an all-inclusive resort and hotel complex that features many luxuries on top of the gambling hall, which has 10,000 sq.ft. of one hundred and thirty one armed bandits and eighty eight table games.
